I agree. Government needs to look at the country thriving, not the economy growing. People need to know if they can get a GP appointment, whether an ambulance will turn in a timely manner, if they have access to a dentist. It goes without saying that healthier, happier people who aren’t ground down by thankless and back breaking jobs, are far more productive than when people are on long term sick because their operation has been cancelled multiple times, they aren’t eligible for sick pay and might lose their job anyway. Anyway, rant over, for now.
