If I don’t hit pause now, I’ll be holding a scorched wick and wondering what happened to my sanity. So, I’m stepping away - just for a few days - before I get fully toasted.
Dear, darling, wonderful Bear 🐻, it's absolutely necessary for you to take a break and just be for a while. We'll be here when you wake up from hibernation, don't worry. Sending you Bear hugs 🫂 xxxxxxxxx ❤️
Please do take care of yourself. I have been a bit worried about you as I think you have been overdoing things lately.
I used to be like you and I didn’t take a break ended up having a burnout which took me more than 2 years to recover from.
I learned from it and toned down my activities for so about 5 years to then gradually expanding again for which I am now paying a big price!! Was it worth it? Of course not. The price I am paying now will be for the rest of my life and impacts my family as well.
So please, please take time off and not just a few days. You need more time to recover.
You have done more than enough to earn a break. Enjoy it, and I shall await your return. You have been inspirational to many people, so make the most of a short break.
It's not easy to make the decision to take a breather so well done for making it. Go gently with yourself, do those things that give you peace and joy, and come back only when you know that you have regained your equilibrium - even if that takes longer than you think it will. Your friends will understand and hold you in our thoughts xx
Bears need their hibernation. As the song goes: ‘…Take it easy, Don’t let the sound of your own wheels drive you crazy’. I have that line as my ringtone so whenever I panic because someone I don’t know (or know and don’t want to speak to) phones, I get gently put right again. Maybe answer, maybe not. Thank you for all you do x
Thanks once again for being the voice of sanity in this increasingly crazy world. Enjoy your 'breather' xx

Enjoy your break, and thank you for so eloquently the current omnishambles we are in!

PS my book arrived on Saturday, thank you xx
Amazingly you avoided the word “hibernating”! Take care and stay safe.
Top up the batteries and come back firing on all cylinders...
If thats not a heavily mixed metaphor!
Understandable, just take care and recharge and hopefully enjoy a bit of peace.

See you once you emerge from hibernation. Take care of yourself
Enjoy your break. Look forward to you being back, and feeling recharged soon.
Everyone deserves a break for time to themselves and to recharge batteries.
